Looking for a fun way to get your child started in gardening? Check out the Kids’ Gardening Program at Tenfold Farmstand with Farmer Faith!

Details/Info:

During this five week program, kids will have the opportunity to learn about gardening and connect with other kids along the way.

Itinerary:

Together, we’ll learn the basic of gardening such as sowing seeds, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, preservation, and so much more.

Regardless of which age group your child falls into, you can expect a number of activities such as plant marker making, sowing seeds, creating bee and bug hotels, mud paint play, transplanting, creating/decorating and potting up tin can planters, seed art mosaics, flower pressed bookmarks, handpicked tea, quick-pickling, harvesting, bug hunts, journaling, weeding, and the list goes on and on. There will be an activity for everyone to enjoy!

Dates/Times:

Ages 5-8

- There will be a 60 minute Thursday morning session every week for five weeks

- Session starts at 10am

- Session starts on June 15th and ends on July 13th

Ages 9-12

- There will be a 60 minute Saturday morning session every week for five weeks

- Session starts at 10am

- Session starts on June 17th and ends on July 15th
